rubber glove ceramics aka Paula Doherty makes pottery in her Glasgow studio and currently sells work online and at markets. Her work is predominantly inspired by the natural world, Scottish landscapes and found rocks, but with a contemporary twist. She mostly works in stoneware with some trad pottery elements and colours that are contrasted with simpler yet fun more modern shapes and bold pronounced forms.
Through her work, she hopes to create everyday items which can be both long-lasting functional favourites, and bring a little joy to the user's every day.
Alongside her own practice, Paula also runs pottery workshops and works as a technician at Wild Gorse Pottery.
